Memorial Garden Refurbishment

During the Summer of 2016, a series of refurbishment works took place in the Memorial Gardens on Bondgate, including:

  • Railings erected by the cenotaph to hold wreaths and to prevent them being damaged and blown away – fully funded by Otley BID
  • Refurbishment of the Memorial Garden benches
  • Re-planting in the gardens, undertaken by Otley in Bloom

Councillor Peter Jackson was instrumental in organising this initiative, in collaboration with ourselves, Leeds City Council, Otley Town Council and our Ward Councillors.
