Businesses that were forced to close during the national lockdown can now receive a Coronavirus Restart Grant from Leeds City Council to help them reopen.
Today (Wed 3 Mar) the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has announced his 2021 Budget, which most importantly sets out the Government’s new measures to help businesses and jobs through the Covid-19 Pandemic and support the UK’s recovery.
Yesterday the Prime Minister outlined a roadmap on how lockdown will be lifted throughout England over the coming months.

To help support those businesses who are still closed we are postponing the bills which were initially extended to end May, these have now been further extended to end August.
Yesterday evening (Mon 25th May) the Prime Minister set out a timeline for retail to re-open from 1st June and further guidance has been published for how to operate safely to protect staff and customers.
