Town Team Volunteers
In 2016 we created a team of volunteers named the ‘Town Team Volunteers’. This was to help with tasks around the town particularly during events, with the ethos of ‘many hands make light work’.
Tasks that the Town Team Volunteers got involved with were such as events traffic management, welcoming visitors, on the day assistance, set up, break down, putting up/taking down of flags, to name a few.
To help visitors identify the volunteers they were all provided with an orange branded polo shirt, cap and lapel badge.
Unfortunately, this group was later disbanded due to lack of volunteers/interest.
