Otley BID Ltd are looking to appoint a person to support the directors with administration support.
We are looking for someone who would be self-employed and we would pay an agreed hourly rate for work as needed. We estimate approximately 8 hours per month, but this may vary depending on the Events Calendar.
The role would include:
- Monitoring our emails and replying or forwarding them on.
- Attend Board Meetings, take and distribute minutes
- Attend ad-hoc meetings as required
- Liaising with directors/businesses re. admin for specific projects e.g Love Your High St, Christmas Trees, training course set up and liaison.
- Support with Events, eg. Kids Funzone. Prior and on the day, leafleting, taking photographs etc.
- Support Marketing & Communications BID Champion eg. creating events (Facebook & Eventbrite), posting reminders, Otley Matters & Newsletters
- The successful candidate will need to be confident speaking with businesses in person, by email or phone.
- Be familiar with, or willing to learn Word, Excel, Dropbox.
Full on-the-job training will be provided. The role will involve a mixture of working from your home and being “out and about” in Otley visiting businesses and attending meetings.
