As our 1st term draws to a close we are delighted with the difference the last 4 years of the Otley Business Improvement District (BID) has made to our town and it’s businesses. With the help of our local business owners, Otley BID generates an additional £350,000 each 5 year term. So far in the last 4 years the BID has invested over £270,000 directly into the town, with another £80,000 to be invested within this financial year.
The economic climate continues to be challenging for all our businesses, whether they are customer facing or in the service sector. However, the old adage of ‘strength in numbers’ is still very true. By joining together we can make a difference and we strongly believe that by shopping local and sourcing local we can support our own community and continue to take Otley from strength to strength.
In October 2018 we will be asking business owners to VOTE YES to secure a 2nd 5 year term for Otley BID and another £350,000 investment into our town.
