Thank you to those who completed last week’s ‘FREE’ Business Parking and Kirkgate Planters Survey.
As promised, please see below the ACTIONS we will be taking on your behalf following your important and insightful feedback, along with a summary of the SURVEY RESULTS:
KIRKGATE PLANTERS
- As OTLEY TOWN COUNCIL are the owners of, and the organisation who continue to instigate the planters on Kirkgate as part of their Otley Street Vision Plan, we will forward the results of the Planters Survey to the Councillors at Otley Town Council to confirm how the majority of our business community have voted.
FREE BUSINESS PARKING
- We will continue the Station Top ‘Free’ Business Parking until mid-November and in the meantime will have a conversation with the land owner as to whether they would like to continue with the current situation given the disappointingly low uptake.
FUTURE UPDATES
- We will feedback to you on both situations as updates arise.
VIEW SURVEY RESULTS SUMMARY
Please continue to use the FREE Business Parking, saving you and your staff approx. £3.60 per day (£18 per week) in parking charges. In the meantime we will monitor numbers and consult with the land owner as to whether this facility should be extended past mid-November.
