Long-standing vacant, empty, or derelict commercial premises can often create a negative impression of a town, particularly in areas that would otherwise be vibrant and welcoming. In Otley, we are keen to change this.
This document highlights the work being undertaken by Otley BID and Otley Town Council to bring these buildings back into active use. By sharing this information publicly, we aim to encourage interest from potential businesses and investors, while also maintaining a transparent record of premises that would benefit from redevelopment, refurbishment, or new ownership.
Our goal is to help ensure Otley continues to thrive as an attractive place to live, work and visit, while encouraging property owners to play their part in keeping the town centre active and welcoming.
