Order Your Free (Small) ‘Buy In Otley’ Bags

We are pleased to confirm that, following the success of the last batch of the large “Buy In Otley” bags, we have taken delivery of an additional 5,000 ‘twist handle’ recyclable paper carrier bags, to distribute amongst retail businesses.

 

As previously, these bags are FREE to our levy paying businesses.

 

The aim is that customers will re-use these bags over and over again, promoting Otley and the Buy In Otley business directory each time they go out shopping with them, thus encouraging more people to #ShopLocal.

 

Please check that your listing on the website is still correct, and if you haven’t yet registered your business yet please contact james@endurecommunications.co.uk.

 

There are a few points to make regarding these branded carrier bags:

 

  1. SIZE : They are slightly smaller than the last ones, so may suit those who found the last batch too large, eg. for use with small books, toiletries, gifts, etc.
  2. QUANTITY : We are planning to give out a maximum of 50 bags per business to those who want them, but if you don’t need that quantity, please let us know so that we can give them to other businesses who can make use of them.
  3. DON’T NEED BAGS : We would like to request that businesses who don’t need bags, eg. because they already have their own, or because they don’t use them on a daily basis, please don’t ask for any, thereby allowing us to hand them out to those businesses who do need them.

 

These bags are meant to be seen! We want to see them walking around Otley in customers’ hands!

 

HOW TO ORDER YOUR BAGS

So that we can arrange staffing and collate the bags ready for collection, we ask that you complete the attached form by Sunday 17th October 2021.

 

To place your order, please complete the quick 2 minute form below by Sunday 17th October 2021. Please note that there is enough to supply 100 businesses and are available on a first come, first served basis.
Once we have received your order, we will send you a confirmation email on Monday 18th October, together with the date, time and location for collection within Otley.

 

If you are a sole trader and are going to struggle to visit the collection point on the above date/time, please let us know and we will try to arrange an alternative way of collecting. However, please note that collection on the above dates will be the quickest and easiest way to collect for this current batch, and is also dependent upon demand.
